Josh and I had our ultrasound appointment scheduled for Friday morning (1/18). I’m a little late in getting this post up. We planned to have the tech place the baby’s gender in an envelope and open it with everyone that evening.
As soon as I saw our precious baby on the monitor I had to know everything. It was amazing. What an amazing miracle of God! Josh told me that he had a feeling I wouldn’t be able to not find out. I will clarify that changing my mind and finding out ahead of time was all my idea.
So all day on Friday, we knew, but our family and friends were excited to come over for dinner to find out! We chowed down on pizza and salad and everyone chatted about what they thought the baby was.
Before we all found out, we read out loud the name suggestions we got from our friends and family. There were some hilarious suggestions. My personal favorites: Lenay, Mantei Te’o and Ndamukong. 🙂
Since Josh and I already knew, we asked our moms to open the envelope and share the joyous news that we were expecting a little…
To celebrate we ate cake made by my awesome sister, Abbi! So cute and delicious.
It was such a great evening. We really enjoyed sharing our surprise with our family and friends.
